About the event

CERES SUPPER begins. Tonight's guests are the founding table, and the first to see where it goes next.

To celebrate the launch of CERES, we're opening our headquarters studio in Downtown Los Angeles for a family style dinner of up to nine courses, gathering the creatives, collaborators, friends, and family who brought us here and the people we hope to build with next. It's a night of shared plates passed hand to hand, long conversation, and a first look at the space where our consulting and brand partnership work will live.

From here, the table carries forward as a recurring supper club, each gathering shaped by its own theme, whether a chef, a collaborator, a craft, or a place.

This is the first supper. Everything after starts here.

Chef Luis Aguilar

Born and raised in El Monte in the San Gabriel Valley, Chef Luis has lived all over Los Angeles and spent the last twelve years in its kitchens. He has cooked at Eveleigh under Jordan Toft and at Animal under Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo, and worked with Jonathan Whitener at both Animal and Here’s Looking At You. He spent seven years at Gwen with Curtis Stone, and has also cooked at Vespertine with Jordan Kahn and at Jacaranda with Daniel Patterson.

For Luis, the best memories come from food. Discovering new flavors and new cultures is what drives him, and he believes good food always brings people together with a smile. At the CERES table, his goal is simple: to create a memory worth keeping.
